The Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Representing Grayson County Fire Departments with the interest of Firefighters, Fire Prevention Specialists, Emergency Medical Technicians, Dispatchers, and various other positions encompassed within the fire service today. The Association represents paid, volunteer, and combination departments.

To serve our members through professionalism and leadership thereby enhancing the Fire/Rescue services in Grayson County.      

Our Vision

The Association Seeks to:

• Provide a progressive voice for Grayson County Fire Chiefs and Firefighters
• Be a professional organization that provides the finest training and education opportunities to Grayson County Departments.
• Foster a fire safe County.

• Providing an atmosphere of involvement and participation
• The dedication of all Fire Rescue personnel to provide life safety and the protection of property
• Public and firefighter safety/education
• Inter-agency cooperation and communication
• Open communications at all levels
• Family unity and support
• Camaraderie, trust and integrity of the Fire/Rescue service

I hope you can see and appreciate the many potential benefits this collaboration brings.  However, like most things in life that are worthwhile, there are costs involved.  That is why it is necessary to solicit help from those within the communities we serve.  Your contribution will help us to continue to improve fire and EMS services within Grayson County, work together to bring efficiencies as a group, pool our resources to reduce costs, improve the quality of training, and much, much more.
